A MESSAGE FROM OUR DIRECTOR AND PRINCIPAL OPTOMETRIST DANIELLE ROSS

Firstly, our thoughts go out to you and your family during these difficult and uncertain times.

Health is our number one priority and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure you of the measures we are taking to ensure your safety.

During this time, as the COVID-19 Coronavirus evolves, we are following closely the advice of the Ministry of Health.

As a medical practice, we will continue to maintain high sanitation standards. But we would like to share what we are doing to take extra care;

  • More frequent cleaning throughout the day of all high-touch areas with high-grade disinfectant

  • Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the clinic and retail areas

  • The appropriate use of personal protective measures (i.e. face mask) during appointments, as required or requested

We do ask that you help us keep our community safe. Our clinics regularly care for the elderly, infants and those with complex medical conditions.

We ask you to please take the proper health precautions when visiting our locations, and please reschedule your appointment if you or a family member is either unwell or has traveled overseas within the last 14 days.

The OCULA team is healthy and eager to keep looking after your vision and eye care needs. Your continued support is appreciated during this trying time.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and do everything possible to maintain a healthy environment so that we can continue to provide you and your family with your eyecare and vision needs.

A situation like this makes us realise how connected we all really are, and that we have a responsibility to look after each other. I am hopeful that we will all come out of this more united.

Stay safe.
