Kirsty Pienaar

Kirsty Pienaar is a qualified FBDO Senior Dispensing Optician at OCULA, with over 20 years’ experience in optometry.

Her passion for clients and true love for eyecare shines through – and she brings world-class eyecare knowledge to the team.
Not only does she manage our OCULA Arrowtown boutique, she is also our retail team leader. Over the years, she has given several talks on optical dispensing and has written and published a book about the subject. From behavioural optometry, paediatric care and special needs children, to low vision and cosmetic styling, she truly looks forward to making an impact on lives through eye care.

In late 2019 she and her family relocated to New Zealand where she became a registered New Zealand dispensing optician.

Driven by her calling and enthusiasm for the OCULA brand, she can be found in our Arrowtown boutique – and spends a significant amount of time facilitating training for our team, ensuring we can offer our clients the best solutions to their vision needs.
