In the 1960s, Céline Vipiana shifted positions from children’s shoes to a greater target - women’s fashion. She started designing handbags, gloves, loafers and clothes. After cementing itself a fashion stalwart over the decades, Celine was purchased by LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis VuittonGroup) in 1996, a luxury goods conglomerate.
