Home to our founders, Danielle and Johnny Winstone and their young family. OCULA started its journey on Ardmore Street and is now located on Helwick Street. By offering a great selection of optical frames and sunglasses, plus technologically advanced equipment, our team of optometrists and eyewear specialists will find the right eyecare solution for you. The picturesque town serves as a perfect backdrop to the state-of-the-art facilities and experienced professionals who make us a premier destination.

Thank you for choosing OCULA Wanaka! We’re looking forward to you visiting our practice! We want to ensure your visit runs smoothly from start to finish. Here are a few things to keep in mind ahead of your visit:

  • Complete our Welcome Form at least a day before your appointment.

  • Be sure to bring your current pair of glasses with you or your current contact lenses.

  • Parking: Parking can be found on Helwick Street or surrounding roads to the practice. Please allow for more than 1 hour, and be aware our parking warden is very good at their job!

  • Bus: Upon arrival, check in at one of the reception desks downstairs. You will be ushered upstairs where you’ll relax in our waiting room until your optometrist greets you.

  • For your time with us, please allow 1.5 hours. While this may likely be less, allowing for this time will ensure our team dedicates all the time and care your eyes deserve.
